Yes, you read correctly…in my mind, this is one of the best Sideshow Collectibles figures that has been produced…how do they possibly still have some in stock?!
I don’t know, but if you’re on the fence, you may want to pick it up while you can and avoid the Wait List. Click the banner below to add to your 12″ army!

While you’re at it, the 12″ General Hawk figure is also still available and in stock now! Hit up the banner below to grab that one.

These figures have been selling out fast, I’m amazed that these two (which are both very cool looking figures) are still in stock! Jump on them while you have the chance. While you’re at it, think about the woodland Ninja Viper figure as well. Originally an SDCC Exclusive, you can pick this up right now directly from the Sideshow Collectibles store.

This concludes the pimp post of the day.

Good grief this thing is spectacular.
Granted, as I’ve said before, I prefer my figures to actually move, but it’s tough to argue at the sheer coolness of the display value with this particular figure. Part statue, part figure, and full of imposing awesomeness.
I love that the images they added also include a shot of him with the upcoming premium format Baroness as well. These would make for one cool display.
Check out the additional images right here and if you love this thing like I do, pre-order him via the banner below.

It’s Sideshow Collectibles day!
Hot on the heels of Chad Lawless’ excellent Snake Eyes Polystone statue the always awesome Mysterious Stranger reminded me of another review (combination review at that!) that I hadn’t had a chance to get posted yet.
The Desert Cobra Officer and Cobra Sniper are two similar offerings that Stranger elected to review in one joint review, and it’s another great one!
Check out this latest review right here and again a big thanks to those folks who choose to pitch in with reviews on the site. I am endlessly grateful.

Is it Storm Shadow? A red ninja? I’m not entirely sure, but Sideshow Collectibles revealed it as part of their 12 Days of Christmas program, going on right now.
The uniform is obviously Storm Shadow’s from his 1984 days, but with the hood, it’s tough to tell if that is who this is, just with some artistic license. Regardless, the statue looks pretty impressive.

Happy Black Friday from Sideshow Collectibles! They’re celebrating by launching a pre-order for the latest in their line of premium format figures. To go along with the awesome Cobra Commander we’ve already seen, now we have The Baroness!
In all honesty, I’m not big on the premium format stuff. They look gorgeous, but I’d rather my action figures move. They are certainly some awesome display pieces, and if money wasn’t an object I’d be all over them for that purpose, but at any rate…she’s up for preorder. Check out the links below for pre-orders.

This one kind of came out of nowhere… Sideshow’s Twitter feed made the announcement, and here’s the official pre-order for the Black Dragon Ninja!
For folks who are unfamiliar with the Black Dragons, they were first introduced in the 2003 Convention Set, Operation: Anaconda and sort of found their way into the G.I. Joe mythology from there. An interesting choice, to be sure.

Okay, first of all, props to Mysterious Stranger for sending me this review… like months ago. :shifty:
Then double props to him for asking me about it a couple of weeks ago. :shifty:
And now, triple props to him for reminding me today that it still wasn’t posted, and that I had promised a review to folks today. Killing two birds with one stone! Anyway, Mysterious Stranger is always the man when it comes to Sideshow Collectibles reviews, and I’m psyched that he does them for the site…even if I forget to post them for a few months.

Oh my goodness.
I know there was some mixed opinions when the sneak preview of the Crimson Guard went live, but… wow. I am loving the looks of this figure. It’s breaking my heart as I realize that I simply do not have the money to own all of these Sideshow masterpieces.
I raved about the Siegie when I first saw it, but did start rethinking myself a bit. But that rethinking has gone right out the window with this photo gallery. He’s got the classic gun, he’s got the classic backpack…he’s got the freaking FRED HEAD (for the Sideshow Exclusive version, anyway)! The more I look at his shiney faux-leather uniform the more I love the elite “honor guard” look of it.
This figure is gorgeous and will be a big time conversation starter in any Joe display. I understand it’s not for everyone, but I love it. I’ve mirrored a couple of the images below, but you can see more at Sideshow’s Website.
Pre-Orders will be live via the Sideshow newsletter on October 6th, 2011.

Woah! Rocking some pleather action, the Cobra Elite Trooper, Crimson Guard makes his Sideshow Collectibles 12″ figure debut, and from the quick peek it looks very cool! With an awesome leathery uniform texture, he instantly stands out from the other Cobra Troopers and automatically generates an “elite” feel.
Excellent. Check out the mirrored image below, and hit up Sideshow Collectibles to check it out as well.
An Exclusive product reveal will appear in the Production Blog on October 4th, with pre-orders beginning on October 6th. Something tells me this guy will be a hot commodity. Don’t hesitate on this one.
