After a long hiatus, JoeCanuck Newsletter is alive and online once again!

It’s been a long time, but the national nightmare is over… the JoeCanuck newsletter has returned!

With the Canadian JoeCon coming up in August, things look like they’re rolling along again with the JoeCanuck newsletter, with a change in release schedule to quarterly, but the same exciting newsletter content!

Great articles about G.I. Joe: Renegades, G.I. Joe articulation formats, and an interview with Gary from What’s on Joe Mind, there’s a bunch of great stuff crammed inside one awesome PDF.  Check out the latest newsletter right here.

Also make sure you keep your eyes on CanadianJoeCon.com for the most up to date information on the Canadian JoeCon, coming up August 10th and 11th.

Hey, Canadian Joe fans… answer your damn phones!

Because your American brothers are suddenly going to be your best friends.

That’s right, the day is nigh.  Over on HissTank.com, bandonov reports that he has found the Pursuit of Cobra Ashiko w/ Cycle Armor and HISS Scout at “Winners” (which is the Canadian equivolent of  TJ Maxx).  For $9.99.

Yes, that’s right…  they are officially at Canadian retail.  Let the fury begin!

And for folks who aren’t sure what to think of Ashiko and the Cycle Armor, check out my review right here.

JoeCanuck reveals exclusives for the Canadian JoeCon!

Okay, I lied…I had to talk about this, too.

Since I brought up Spook on the What’s on Joe Mind Podcast this week, I feel it’s only right that I let folks know to check out the JoeCanuck forums to check the figure out for themselves.  And of course, when I went there to link it up, I was surprised to see the exclusive Coyote Troopers are also posted for the world to see!

Boo ya!

These figures are already shaping up to be great!  Love everything I’ve seen so far…just wish I could find a way to make the trip and get the set this year.  The Canadian Joe Con and JoeCanuck crew deserve a heaping helping of praise for what they’re doing with the set this year.  Fantastic stuff.

Check out the links below for the various images:

Latest JoeCanuck Newsletter online

And we’ve got more exclusives artwork!  With the Canadian JoeCon coming up quick, we’re starting to get some looks at the characters that are going to be in the set, including the “Coyote Trooper” and we’re getting TWO of him!  Yes, multiple troop builders for the first time in a Canadian JoeCon set!

You can actually take a peek at the Coyote Trooper on the frontpage of JoeCanuck.com, but there’s a much better image and more details (about him and… Valkyrie!) inside the newsletter itself.  Also announced is that the ever popular and famous Ron Rudat will be a guest at the convention!  He’ll be there to talk about his experience with old school G.I. Joe, and his brand new G.I. Joe themed documentary that he and his son Tristan have just about completed.

Also coming this week is a Canadian JoeCon Pre-Registration site!  That’s right, 25 JoeCanuck.com members will be able to register to attend the Convention ahead of time and have their boxed set held for them prior to the con.  You’ll also be able to buy the comic, trading cards, and much more.

So, a lot happening North of the border!  As always hit up JoeCanuck.com for the details, and keep your eyes on CanadianJoeCon.Com, too.  Grab the latest copy of the newsletter right here.

With JoeCon right around the corner, and the Canadian G.I. Joe Convention close behind, another issue of the awesome Canadian G.I. Joe Collectors’ Club Newsletter has hit the internet!  While my recent change in job schedule has unfortunately precluded me from participating in the recent issues, I enjoy reading them every month, and am on pins and needles waiting for the official reveal of the Con exclusive figures.  The latest newsletter does feature some awesome artwork for the upcoming figures, including Mudslinger, who looks…well… amazing.

Can’t wait!

JoeCanuck February Newsletter is now online

It’s actually been online for a couple of days, but I’ve been busy and woefully negligent considering how hard these guys work to do this excellent newsletter.  Not only that, but there are some great revelations about the upcoming Canadian JoeCon Convention Set!  Two artist renditions of characters right on the front page.

Check out the newsletter right here!

Don’t forget to discuss all of the JoeCanuck coolness on their message boards as well.

Mystery art on JoeCanuck reveals a Canadian JoeCon Exclusive?

Yes, that’s a question, because I have no idea…but I was perusing some of my favorite G.I. Joe sites today, and what do I see in the upper corner of JoeCanuck.com?

This guy:

Okay, so that’s definitely Jason Loo’s artwork…or seems to be, anyway.  He’s the guy that typically does the art for the Canadian JoeCon Exclusives.  So of course, I eagerly jumped into the site and looked around, but saw no mention of this anywhere.  What the–?

I guess it could be a mistake, or perhaps a sign of things to come, but whatever the case, the figure looks really cool.  So, of course, you’ll want to keep June 18th in mind if you’re at all interested.  No guarantees, but it certainly seems to be leading that way.  The full information for the upcoming Canadian JoeCon can be seen below:

You can also, of course, go to CanadianJoeCon.com for the full skinny as well!
