Todd, photography wizard, and the admin of Magnum6Delta has posted a great thread on JoeSightings.com with some very nice clear images of the Assault on COBRA Island 7-Pack. He has also graciously allowed me to host the images below!
Fantastic looking figures.

The thrilling conclusion to IDW’s stellar limited series hit comic shops on Wednesday, and reviews have cropped up in several various places online:
By and large, the reaction has been raving…pretty much every review I read is stellar and positive, and I agree completely. Ever since hearing the premise for the story, I had a good feeling about it, and I was not let down. From the fast-paced first issue, straight through the twists and turns, and all the way to the biggest twist at the end, this has been a suspensful, action packed thrill ride, from beginning to end.
COBRA is given some instant credibility, a relatively unknown character in Chuckles gains some incredible depth, and in just four issues, lots of groundwork has been laid for the future. Excellent story.
I have to find it more than a little ironic that Chuckles, a guy in a Hawaiian shirt who never got any real credibility has now been the star of two great stories, both from the Devils’ Due days, and now in IDW. Just goes to show, that even the smallest “throw away” character can be a great one, if given the right chance to shine.

ComicsContinuum has posted the 5-Page preview for the upcoming fourth issue of G.I. Joe: COBRA. If the 5-Page preview is any indication, this series is going to continue clicking on all cylinders straight to the end… can’t wait to check out the full issue! Images are posted below.
Thanks to WildWeasel from The Terror Drome for the info!

Well, IDW certainly doesn’t seem to be messing around. While the mainstream G.I. Joe title unfortunately sort of continues to plod along at a snail’s pace, pretty much every other G.I. Joe related offering from IDW is really knocking the ball out of the park. I’ve been surprisingly keen on the movie prequels (which are simple, but amazingly effective), the Origins series has its ups and downs, but has been pretty solid over all. The real winner in this 4-title race, though, is G.I. Joe: COBRA. I had a feeling when I first heard the concept of this book that they were going to take the reigns off a little bit and go a little darker and grittier. Well, they certainly have so far, and no more than they just did with Issue #3, which hit comic book stores today.
I’ll finish this talk about the book after the break, so as not to reveal any spoilers. I’m actually going to consciously avoid the BIG spoilers in this issue, just so folks can read this post without fear of ruining a major plot point, but I may mention some events from the previous 2 issues here.

The issue comes out today, but for some reason, I missed the 5-page preview along the way. Chris Ryall posts a link to it in his Ryalltime Blog, you can check out the preview here.

Well, not quite “across the web”, but reviews are starting to eek out for G.I. Joe: COBRA #2 which hit comic shops yesterday.
I haven’t had a chance to pick up my copy yet, but if it’s half as good as issue #1 was, I’ll be jumping for joy. A great start, that’s for sure.

ComicsContinuum has posted a “First Look” 5-Page preview of the upcoming G.I. Joe: COBRA #2, which hits local comic shops on Wednesday, April 15th.
Written by Christos Gage and Mike Costa, and with art by Antonio Fuso, the book centers on G.I. Joe undercover agent Chuckles attempting to infiltrate the most secretive terrorist sect known to mankind. Along the way we see some familiar faces and watch Chuckles slow descent into the terrorist underworld. Check out the 5-page preview here.
In my personal opinion, this is the best G.I. Joe book I’ve read from IDW yet, I’m greatly looking forward to Issue #2 next week!
Thanks to “Lucs” from HissTank.com for the info!

Amazon has posted new listings for a couple of upcoming IDW products, including Marvel reprints Volume 6 and the COBRA Trade Paperback. There are no covers posted yet, but it’s very interesting to note that Volume 6 of the Marvel reprints will likely start reprinting comics that have not been collected as of yet into previous Trade Paperbacks, so it’s a great chance to pick up where you left off on the Marvel series.
Big thanks to Jeff Bohn for the info!

Some folks are starting to receive their latest Collectors’ Club newsletters for the month of April…but unfortunately there is no additional information on the 2009 Convention Exclusive figures within. :(
However, not all news is bad news. According to GGPIKE of the Coil Club, the newsletter does have a very nice (though apparently somewhat small) picture spread of the upcoming Attack on COBRA Island 7-Packs with pictures of the figures and all of the gear they will be coming with! Unfortunately, no pictures are available, but with help from George, I can describe what each figure looks to come equipped with:
