AC Toys poster reveals in hand images of Cobra Combat Ninja

I know now that in hand pictures have surfaced of this figure, collector desire seems to have waned just a bit.  With some reduced paint applications and color adjustments this figure seems to have gone from red-hot to luke warm almost overnight.

If that means it’ll be easier to stock up on these after release, that’s cool with me, because I still plan on buying as many of these as I can get.  On Asian message board ACToys, poster 236604994 has gotten one of these figures in his grasp, and posted a nice allotment of in hand pictures, including front and back package shots, and the very cool ASP-themed rocket launcher.

I will agree with some of the fandom out there and say that I wish they had kept the darker, more detailed paint work of the pre-production version, but I don’t think this one is bad by any stretch.  The varied amount of accessories, multiple heads, and the digital camouflage all look pretty great.  Check out the images on ACToys, or in the gallery mirrored below.

New in hand images of G.I. Joe: Retaliation Wave 2 at AC Toys

Call me crazy but I actually really love the play feature of that Wave 2 Firefly.  Yes, it looks like it results in some reduced arm/wrist articulation, but the light up forearms and the long motorized sled are actually pretty damn cool, I think.  At some point we have to think about the children!

Over on Small Evil has posted a wealth of G.I. Joe: Retaliation Wave 2 images including Roadblock, Snake Eyes, Flint, Storm Shadow, and the aforementioned Firefly.  Check out Roadblock and carded images here, and the Firefly images here, and I’ve also mirrored the images below.

Thanks to for the info.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation Ninja Combat Cruiser in hand images

Looks like we’re getting some good news this afternoon!  The G.I. Joe: Retaliation Ninja Combat Cruiser has been revealed via in hand images thanks to  While we’ve seen plenty of press images of this vehicle, these are the first real in hand images…and the best news of all?  It looks like the Arashikage symbol that everyone was hating is a sticker, not a permanent tampo applied to the vehicle!

That is great news.  This vehicle looks exceptionally cool, and the fact that it can be used as a more standard military vehicle without all the ninja hullabaloo attached is very, very cool.  Check out the thread on, and I’ve also mirrored images below.  Thanks to The Terror Drome for the heads up.
