  1. Now we only need a Zartan to complete the cobra vintage villains!..Man..I Really love Zartan. e3e

  2. Couple of quick things: You must have a preproduction Leatherneck because I just got mine today and he has camo on the upper legs (though none on arms). As for the Night-Viper web-gear, thee is a pistol that comes in the set to put in there.

  3. Picked up all the wave 1 stuff on Friday at my local Toys r us, Get my Flint in today! Love Beachhead and Destro and was very happt to not pay $80 for that awesome Lowlight

  4. This is the thing I don’t like about the pre-production reviews… Justin (understandably) rarely goes back and updates them. So then when I’m referring back, I sometimes can only look at a review of a figure that wasn’t even available to most of us. Pretty sure some of the Resolute reviews are like this… can’t remember which others.

  5. I absolutely love the H.E.A.T. Viper, but it’s annoying I’ll have to waste money on that pointless Blowtorch.

  6. I got a production figure a few weeks ago and it did include a pistol. The problem is that the included handgun doesn’t match—the webgear is from RoC (I have it on my MARS Troopers and Officers) and has a clunky handgun designed to fit it. The gun included with Night Viper is too small (it lacks the under-barrel attachment of the original that keeps it in place) and falls out easily, but is better-detailed and probably fits his hands better than the original would (most of my figures are in storage, so I can’t test this).

  7. I’ve collected a lot of stuff for the 50th Anniversary, but don’t have the San Diego Comic Con Exclusive, the Battle Below Zero Set(though I do have Snake Eyes), the Social Class 2-pack(already have better versions of both figures in that set), Arctic Ambush(don’t have the B.A.T.), and the Eagle’s Edge 3-pack(already have Hawk, I don’t need another version of Destro, and don’t need Leatherneck that badly). Unless Hasbro plans on releasing new stuff to TRU, i’m done with buying any more GI Joes for now.

  8. I feel the 25th Anniversary single pack Zartan that came with the Swamp Skier is already adequate enough to fill that need for me. However, I would totally agree with that, and add that a better version of Dreadnok Torch and Ripper need to be released too.

  9. I agree that there are plenty of great offerings, including Flint, Beach-Head, COBRA Trooper, Low-Light, Snow Job, HEAT Viper, and Destro(aside from the legs).
