Hey, Canadian Joe fans… answer your damn phones!

Because your American brothers are suddenly going to be your best friends.

That’s right, the day is nigh.  Over on HissTank.com, bandonov reports that he has found the Pursuit of Cobra Ashiko w/ Cycle Armor and HISS Scout at “Winners” (which is the Canadian equivolent of  TJ Maxx).  For $9.99.

Yes, that’s right…  they are officially at Canadian retail.  Let the fury begin!

And for folks who aren’t sure what to think of Ashiko and the Cycle Armor, check out my review right here.

Confirmation – Zellers to receive Ashiko and HISS Scout Alpha Vehicles!

Start making some friends North of the border… JoeCanuck  has gotten word from Hasbro Canada that Zellers has agreed to carry the missing Alpha Vehicles for the Pursuit of Cobra toyline, which includes the highly sought after Ashiko w/ Cycle Armor and HISS Scout vehicles!

The exact phrase of the email is below:

“Just got word from Hasbro Canada that due to the fan outpouring and
feedback on these units, Zellers has stepped up to the plate and ordered
them!

That’s right – The HISS Scout and Cycle Armour have left Hasbro’s
warehouses and are en route to a Zellers near you! Look for them to arrive
within the next little while.

So, we said our piece, and Hasbro and Zellers listened. Now it’s up to us
to show them that it was a good decision by getting out there and buying
this stock up!

Talk about it here:

More carded images emerging from the Canadian JoeCon

Over the weekend I posted a handful of packaged images from the upcoming 30th Anniversary figures, thanks to Gary and Stealth Viper.  Well, the Fighting 118th has come through with even more images!  They’ve got nearly every figure from the apparent initial release of the upcoming Joe line.

Interesting changes include:

  • Lack of camouflage on Iron Grenadier
  • Red Arm Guards and updated weapons load from the Cobra Viper
  • Cobra Trooper looks to be much the same (why no AK-47?!?)
  • Steel Brigade looks to be much the same

Check out the thread right here, and I’ve also mirrored the images below.  A big thanks to ‘emike’ for the heads up!

So far we’ve got an image of the carded Pursuit of Cobra Stalker, and we’ve sent word along to Gary so hopefully we’ll get some more goodies as the day goes on!

More figures for the Canadian JoeCon revealed!

Playing a little bit of catch up on news for the past day or two…and with the Canadian Joe Con coming quick, more exclusive figure revelations have taken place!  The two newest members of the Canadian branch of the Joe team are Traceroute and Valkyrie!

Check them out right here.

A pair of VERY cool looking figures.  Valkyrie is obviously based on the Pilot Scarlett anniversary figure, which lends an awesome sheen to the torso paint job that I love.  Traceroute has a bit more customization to him, with what appears to be a new head, and a great combination of parts from the neck down as well.

Two more very cool looking figures, and a set that is shaping up to be impressive indeed.

Keep your eyes on CanadianJoeCon.com and JoeCanuck.com as always for the latest and greatest news and info!
