IDW Publishing Solicitations gives first look at post Revolution G.I. Joe

Although IDW’s Revolution storyline kicks off in September, the first G.I. Joe book spinning out of that event releases in October.  IDW Publishing just sent out the solicitation information for October, so, as one might expect, some new tidbits about G.I. Joe’s new direction can be found within.

Below I’m posting any relevant G.I. Joe solicitations as well as the Revolution comic itself, considering any potential tie ins with the main Joe title.  Obviously Hama’s Real American Hero comic is chugging right along as well!  Check out all the details below.

San Diego ComicCon Preview Night reveals carded images of 2016 G.I. Joe line

Over on HissTank.com, images from affiliate site Toyark have been mirrored giving us our first look at the carded design for the upcoming G.I. Joe line, scheduled to hit retailers in November of this year.  The fine folks at Toyark took a TON of pictures, and I’ve mirrored several of them below, but you should pop on over to HissTank.com to check them all out.

No real surprises here, but some nice shots and the obvious omission of the “50th Anniversary” logo on the packages.  Check it out!

Something in the works between Hasbro and High End toy company 3A

Not too long ago, news leaked out about a collaboration between Hasbro and BAIT/1000 Toys on a new high end 12″ Snake Eyes figure, but it looks like it won’t just be those two companies working together on boutique collector items.

On WorldofThreeA.com (as well as their Facebook page) a teaser image has been posted which seems to indicate that 3A has acquired rights to produce items based within the Hasbro universe, including properties like G.I. Joe, Transformers, and ROM.  The 3A aesthetic is pretty popular among collectors, and it will be fascinating to see how that aesthetic translates to our favorite Real American Heroes.  Keep checking WorldofThreeA for updates, I know I will!

Big thanks to Chris from The Full Force podcast for the heads up.
