Figure Subscription Service Bombstrike reviewed!

The week long coverage of the last shipments of FSS 3.0 continues today with Bombstrike!  The third of the Stall siblings joins her two brothers (previously released in FSS 1) and she definitely raises the bar.

Previews for IDW G.I. Joe ARAH #214 and Transformers vs G.I. Joe #7

With the numbers of G.I. Joe titles going down, it’s a rare thing that we get two issues in a single week featuring G.I. Joe, but we get that this week with A Real American Hero #214 and Transformers vs. G.I. Joe #7.

A Real American Hero deals with the aftermath of Snake Eyes’ death in what appears to be a very somber and understated way, though anything can change after the first five pages…

G.I. Joe Collectors Club reveals FSS IV Pathfinder

I’m firmly of the belief that the 1990 line of G.I. Joe is a strange anomoly in the world of G.I. Joe.  It certainly appeared to be, in conjunction with the DiC series, an inline “rebranding” of the G.I. Joe line, bringing a wealth of new characters to the table.  Many of those characters, while getting a focus in animation, never really captured the imagination of comic readers or collectors.

The Collectors Club is dipping into the 1990 roster twice in this FSS with both Pathfinder and Bullhorn, and they’re showing off Pathfinder first!  Check out the preview image below, and if you like what you see, sign up for FSS IV right here.

Using Lifeline’s head with Gnawgahyde’s hat and a newly tooled weed whacker, this certainly looks like a pretty spot on update for the 1990 G.I. Joe jungle specialist.
