One of the best things about the G.I. Joe fandom to me is the inspiration it has given some great artists, who leverage the G.I. Joe property to put out some amazing work. The latest in this list is artist Brian Miller, who actually worked on the G.I. Joe comic title at Devils’ Due as well as some of the colors for the comic pack comics.
Mr. Miller is working alongside Cobra 1st Legion, the great G.I. Joe cosplay group, to present a fantastic propaganda poster lithograph featuring The Baroness.
You can pre-order this poster at Oktopolis.com and pre-orders are open Nov. 18 – 22 with reward levels as we reach 50, 100, 150, & 200 pre-orders. The poster is limited to 250 pieces each one hand numbered and signed. Fans should visit http://oktopolis.com & use code: 1STLEGION at checkout to save $10.00
Welcome to another exciting installment of What’s on Joe Mind! It’s tough to believe we’ve gone through 87 regular episodes (not to mention almost 40 special editions) but here we are.
We talk to the fine folks from Cobra’s 1st Legion Cosplay group, get to some good old fashioned G.I. Joe news and go through our favorite figures and vehicles from 1987. Check out our Podbean page or hit the embedded player below. Show notes, as always, are after the jump.
IDW Publishing has released their solicitation list for G.I. Joe comics hitting comic shops in February, 2014. Paul Allor continues his four-issue run on the main G.I. Joe title, while Real American Hero hurtles towards an explosive 200th issue.
