G.I. Joe Collectors Club posts last two FSS 2.0 figures – Keel Haul and Big Bear

Real life got in the way tonight, so I couldn’t be right on top of this reveal unfortunately, but nevertheless, the G.I. Joe Collectors Club waits for no man, and the reveals for the Oktober Guard Missile specialist Big Bear and USS Flagg Commander Admiral Keel Haul.

Big Bear looks to be a repainted canceled Pursuit of Cobra Arctic Duke, including the great jacket that has never been released to date.  He’s also got a great looking new head sculpt.  Speaking of new head sculpts, Keel Haul sports a great Admiral hat, and many parts shared from the Rise of Cobra General Hawk (who came with The Pit).

Check out the full blown gallery of FSS 2.0 greatness at GIJoeClub.com or the mirrored gallery below.

Along with the figure reveals, the Collectors Club also released their first “Did you know” segment with Night Force Falcon.  This gives a brief run down of the character’s significance, and also shows the first look at the card art! Check that out right here.

  1. Big Bear and Dragonsky look so good now they have me thinking about buying the whole Oktober Guard set.
Keel Haul looks…pretty good…just not that exciting. They did a good job making him look like the original figure, but I guess without an aircraft carrier, an admiral doesn’t have much to do. Maybe I would like him more with some different accessories, I just don’t need a coffee mug and a flagpole. He still fills an important role on the Joe team and I am glad to have him, but there are other characters I am more excited about now that I did not expect (like Widescope).

  2. Is it just me or does it seem like the head scuplts for Cesspool and Tollbooth are computer generated protypes?

  3. Every figure that they’ve show us is a mock-up. Physical finished copies of these figures don’t exist yet.

  4. 100% agree! He’s the only figure I’d be interested in. He’d go good with the few Oktober Guard figures that I have from the convention set.

  5. That is a tough sell to expect people to sign up for a sub with only mockups to show. Serious nerd rage could ensue.
