The latest G.I. Joe Nocturnal Fire Convention Set reveals – Muskrat and Psyche Out

The Night Force love continues here at GeneralsJoes and over at GIJoeCon.com!  Following up their first Night Force reveal with Charbroil yesterday, we have Muskrat and Psyche Out unleashed on us today.  With some terrific parts, excellent call outs to the originals, and some awesome Toys “R” Us Exclusive accurate paint deco, both Muskrat and Psyche Out are awesome characters and look terrific in their new Night Force battle togs.

I grow more impressed every day…and if this stays like this, when I finally see Hit & Run?  Yeesh.  If I don’t post about it, call the authorities, I might just be passed out and convulsing next to my computer.

Check out the images at GIJoeCon.com and also mirrored below.

MIGHT be? C’mon…. I know you better than that!

These two look really cool. I’m hoping they are saving the best for last because I’m really looking forward to HnR, Repeater, and Spearhead.

Absolutely sick these figures are. I wonder if any of the other figures besides Lt. Falcon are going to be in the 2nd FSS> Shockwave, Tunnel Rat maybe?

Loving Psyche Out. That’s quite a feat.

  • revsears

While Psyche out is a nice recreation of the original, he looks sooo dated. The painting on the armor also has a gap that makes it look like two pieces. But i have to appreciate the logo.

Certainly better than the first batch – shame that they couldn’t figure out a way to include Muskrat’s boogie board, though, since that’s the thing that makes him more than a second-rate Recondo. :)

  • Barbecue17

Muskrat and Psyche-Out are both very, very cool. I do wish Muskrat had the boogie board, though. Yeah, it was a weird accessory, but who cares? It was his, darn it!

Why don’t the sub figs look as good as these guys?

  • GeneralsJoes

Don’t forget the Sub figures have been in production for a long time, probably well before the Club got access to this new Retaliation and 30th Anniversary era tooling. This just makes me more excited to see what we might get with a second FSS, though.

    Psyche Out is awesome

One can “kitbash” an equally effective regular appearance Muskrat by using POC Jungle Duke, pop on a ROC Tatum Duke head, and then use Crosshair’s boonie hat from VvV. Just sayin’.

  • JFaria88

I think Shockwave and Tunnel Rat were released with night force colors a few years ago. I think they were exclusives at Wal Mart.

  • revsears

and that one looks better honestly.
