G.I. Joe: Retaliation Ninja Combat Cruiser in hand images

Looks like we’re getting some good news this afternoon!  The G.I. Joe: Retaliation Ninja Combat Cruiser has been revealed via in hand images thanks to ACToys.com.  While we’ve seen plenty of press images of this vehicle, these are the first real in hand images…and the best news of all?  It looks like the Arashikage symbol that everyone was hating is a sticker, not a permanent tampo applied to the vehicle!

That is great news.  This vehicle looks exceptionally cool, and the fact that it can be used as a more standard military vehicle without all the ninja hullabaloo attached is very, very cool.  Check out the thread on ACToys.com, and I’ve also mirrored images below.  Thanks to The Terror Drome for the heads up.

  1. Do these limited articulation drivers have standard swappable heads?

  2. This is the vehicle I’m looking forward to the most. Adding a roof and doors is a very cool addition to an already cool original figure (Vamp II) As Red Sox said, they’ve created an updated Stinger!

  3. I like the launcher, too. Normally, not huge on the action spring fire thing, but this was a very good launcher on the Wolfhound, in my opinion.

  4. Completely agree. I don’t know if it is enough for me to buy it though.

  5. How close in colors is this to the 2nd version of the GIJoe R.H.I.N.O.?

  6. For once, I am happy not to have tampos on a vehicle. Cobrastickers.com will be getting an order from me. Figure aside, I like it; it is a great color for an urban assault. The figure: I don’t like it anyway; even if it did have great articulation.
