SmallJoes.com and BBTS Preorders posted for 30th Anniversary Wave 3

Pre-Orders are coming down the pipe for upcoming 30th Anniversary Wave 3 G.I. Joe items.  A short while ago I hypothosized that the list we saw in Diamond Previews was not a true Wave 3 case pack out, and it looks like that assumption was at least partly correct.  The figure rundown looks to be similar, but Hasbro is double-packing the key new figures, and has a lot more army builders packed in the case.

Right now you can hit up SmallJoes.com to pre-order the case or select individual figures:

You can also go to Big Bad Toy Store and do some limited pre-orders as well, though the troop builders are already sold out.
Best news to me is that these appear to be due in November, 2011!  Sweetness.

    I guess I’m going to swallow hard and get the Renegades Snake Eyes that I don’t really want or need, because the doubling-up on the army builders means I’m going to get a case.

    Still… if this actually makes it to stores, I can’t see it doing well at retail. Considering my haul of discounted RoC army builders from various Boston-area TJ Maxx-s and Marshall’s over the weekend, I’m still unconvinced that overpacking them at retail is the best idea.

    On the other hand, given the various Dukes and Destros still on the shelves, with few if any sightings of Shock Troopers, maybe there’s more people hunting generics than I think….
