G.I. Joe: Pursuit of Cobra Wave 6 hits online and mass retail

I was going to post this news story anyway, after receiving notification from Big Bad Toy Store that my order for Wave 6 had shipped, but then I perused HissTank.com and saw that Wave 6 is also hitting brick and mortar Toys “R” Us stores!

A mirrored image is below.  It’s been a long time since G.I. Joe figures hit retail…go get ‘em!

    HOLY CRAP!!! I haven’t seen new Joes in a ‘R Us store since the first wave. Now I’m torn. I’m right between paychecks, told the wife Monday I was done buying Joes for a while till the new wave hits probably late May(Utah is behind EVERYTHING). But now I feel drawn to pop my head in and see if they have any, but will I be able to resist the purchase if they are there?

    I’m with ya, Geek-Viper. I have no cash for such a venture. Also: Where’s wave 5? That’s the one I’m hoping for.

    Totally psyched they skipped over the ultra-crappy wave 5 which has no figures I’m interested in and moved straight to wave 6 so I can army build Vipers until 30th hits, hopefully much sooner than expected.

    The stores around me never restock anything, so I won’t be seeing these around here most likely. Good thing I decided not to buy Joes for a while.

    Wow, at a TRU?! Every TRU in my area is overstocked on unwanted Arctic Destros. (Now that I think about it, same situation at my Local Target, though he has the wave 2 Snake Eyes to keep him company) The newest thing I’ve found in my area was 2 Shock Troopers and Shadow Tracker at Target.
