Battlegrip.com reviews IDW’s G.I. Joe: Tales of the Cobra Wars

I had sworn to myself that I would be the first site to review this book after blasting through all 300 pages, but the fact that none of my Local Comic Shops are carrying it kind of put a crick in those plans.  However, Battlegrip.com proprietor Philip Reed backed me up and has posted a fantastic review right here.

With Max Brooks editing these stories, I had a feeling they’d be a lot of fun (and after reading the preliminary tale in the COBRA special a while ago, I knew what to expect with “Speed Trap”) but this sounds even cooler than I’d imagined.

Off to Amazon.com I go, and a big thanks to Philip for spreading the good Joe word!

Many of the pages of this issue had been released via previews on various websites, but it was refreshing to be able to read the entire issue cover to cover in one fell swoop to get a better idea for story flow.  And how did the story turn out?  Click the “Read the Rest of this Entry” link below for my review!
