Five Page Preview for G.I. Joe: Origins #19

The issue hits comic stores tomorrow, and serves as an homage to the original “Silent Issue” from back in the day.  There have been countless homages to that legendary comic, but it seems like Larry Hama is really diving into this one to make it something special.  What will be the end result?  Guess we’ll find out when I post the review tomorrow.

Check out the preview below!

G.I. Joe: Origins #19

  1. Now, THIS is more like what we should be seeing every month, in EVERY BOOK from IDW! This is the level of quality that I keep going on about. This is what we deserve to be seeing from GI Joe, as fans and collectors for all of our hard earned money. Not that crap in Cobra, nasty art doesn’t tell a story, it obscures it behind sketchy darkness.

While I am still not a big fan of Hama anymore, for many reasons I won’t get into here, this issue looks like it will be worth picking up for a change. Cobra is still nowhere even close to my list, because it is just SHODDY, story aside from that is probably fine, but the crappy art kills it on every level for me.

Joe Benitez is AWESOME and a friend of mine, so it’s great to see him back on some GI Joe! Quite literally…Yo Joe!!
