GI Joe Collectors’ Club Adventure Team Pre-Orders are up!

fallen from a dead man’s hand

Congratulations!  You’ve found the FINAL IMAGE!  Hurry up and email justin@generalsjoes.com all five images and you will TAKE BACK THE PIT!

And wow, do these look gorgeous.  Absolutely phenomenal.  If someone told me I’d be falling all over myself about 3 3/4″ versions of the Adventure Team, I would have called them nuts, but here they are, and they really look awesome.

The head sculpts, the chosen parts…  Dr. Venom!  Hell yeah.  This is exactly the type of stuff I love to see from the GIJCC.  Can’t wait to pick ‘em up in Rhode Island in April.  Check out the awesome high res images mirrored below, and click the following links to pre-order yours today!

The most important thing about these figures is that they just look fun.  Tons of gear, some great colors, great play value, and once again…  DR. FREAKING VENOM.  Sweet.

I can’t wait until these show up at TJ Maxx, Marshall’s and Ross! :)

No pricing? Or did I miss that somewhere.

Never mind, found the pricing. $35 for the vehicle sets and $45 for the Doc Venom set. Can’t say I’m surprised. Not sure I want more than two sets now but I’m definitely in.

So, does the CC charge your account at preorder or at shipping? I just joined the Club today, so haven’t ordered anything through them before.

I ordered the Venom set and it’s shown up on my online statement. I do recall them charging at the time of order in the past but this is my first time back with the club in two years. I held off on the other two for now to wait to see if they have them on sale down, down the road.

The battle blitz looks a ton more impressive to me in this context.

I think these look the most fun to me since they’re kind of a side road of fun from the mainstream.

I’m a little shocked that I basically just paid $45 for Dr. Venom, but hey, I’ve been waiting for him for over 20 years.

I will probably find a use for the AT Leader, and I might buy the other sets, but for right now, strictly only that on pre-order.
