Final figure in the 2010 Convention Set revealed!

We all knew this one was coming, and here he is!  Using the torso from the ’91 Snake Eyes and a whole lot of coolness… it’s The Interrogator!

Great figure choice, I can’t wait to see how they integrate it into the Cobra/Red Shadow mythology.  I’m sure I don’t have to tell most of you how much of an Interrogator fanboy I am.  Love it.

Check it out right here!

He’s slightly more battle ready, but is very faithful to the Interrogator look…the helmet is pretty interesting, too, definitely looks like new tooling.  Wonder who’s under the mask…

  1. Someone guessed earlier on its was going to be Lady Jaye in disguise trying to rescue Flint. That’s kinda the theory I’m going with. However, I have a question for anyone out there who is knowledgable with Action Force. Does the team have a master of disguise? If so, them maybe thats who is wearing the Interrogator helmet in an effort to rescue Flint

  2. ‘Solve the mystery this April’, eh? OK, who wants to start the office pool on another April Fools Joke? F.O.O.L. Viper Redux! lmao!!

Interrogator is really Big Lob??!!! OMG!!!!!

Nothing could hold a candle to the F.O.O.L. Viper! Unless the Interrogator IS the F.O.O.L. Viper!! Dun Dun Duuuuun!

  5. My money’s on Action Man just because I’ve pretty much convinced myself that Dr. X is going to be one of the souvenir figures. They’ve used Zanzibar before so they probably have that head mold available and this set seems to be about tangentially related niche foreign stuff. I think it’s crap that they’re still playing guessing games though.

And why does everyone keep guessing Baron Iroonblood? You guys know Ironblood becomes Cobra Commander, right? That and a Baron Ironblood figure without that stupid looking helmet would be pretty useless.

  6. Ah, in ONE continuity, Baron Ironblood became CC. Who know what wackiness Brian Savage and the guys in the OGIJCC have cooked up for us!

    Skeletron?!

    Muton?!

    Trent?!

  7. But if Ironblood/CC doesn’t betray the Red Shadows then what motivation will they have to continue?

I hope a Kraken steps up and assumes leadership of the Red Shadows. The Club can reuse Piper’s kilt and call him ‘Johnny McKraken’.

  8. Figure is decent, I don’t like the “undershirt” that’s not tucked into the pants with a somewhat bulky vest. I like the vest, always liked it one of my favorite figures. I liked the Interrogators original somewhat-of-a-short-trench coat look, a little more villainous with a helmet.
So, here, they put a vest over a coat? A little neck collar flair added to the head would have made me feel this more. The head is looking good, though. I was hoping it would have been more of a totally off-coat look, like the guy took off his coat and voila, he’s ready for battle with a vest and his blue pants.
Where, here, I like the commanders use of the legs and boots.
I’m just not as impressed as I was hoping to be…. maybe after the helmet comes off…?
