Kick Ass Customs of the week – Slaughters_Renegade

Well, I haven’t done one of these in a while, and haven’t really felt a burning desire to, even though I’ve seen a lot of pretty damn cool and creative stuff out there lately.  However, when I stumbled upon Slaughters_Renegade on the Terror Drome…well, I just had to make mention of it!

His work ranges from simple tweaks to existing figures, to entirely new part sculpting and flawless paint apps, he has filled in a TON of holes in the 25th Anniversary roster.  I’m sure everyone knows by now that I’m not all about reliving the past, but his work is so good, I just had to mention it.  These images were all pulled from posts on The Terror Drome, and mirrored here.  Some fantastic work.

Man, airtight, low-light and even the sgt. slaughter sure look awesome; what could have been if the 25th anniversary line kept going? awesome stuff, the guys who make these customs did a wicked job.

I can’t help having a big stupid grin on my face looking through these pictures! Amazing work! Pay attention, Hasbro!

Hasbro… these looks like good 7-packs to me.

I just have to post a comment again…
Deep Six – I didn’t think there was any help for that figure – WOW!
Falcon – yeah, now that’s Falcon!
Lowlight – please, please, please! – Excellent figure!
Airtight – simple, yet excellent custom

I could keep commenting on all of them! Just incredible stuff!

These looks great. I would buy them all if available. I would love Hasbro to put a classics line alongside their new line on the shelves. Than we could get the best of both worlds. Updates to the classics that brought most of us to the game and the great new stuff they’ve shown us.

Well, slap those into the next four years worth of 7-pack sets for collectors as online exclusives, add in a couple more along the way and they are as good as sold.

Did he resculpt the bottom half of Spirit’s face? That is the best incarnation of that character I’ve even seen – down to the 2 removable to-scale knifes. Incredible.

Saw these yesterday and had to pick my jaw off the floor. Outstanding work all around on these guys. I’m seriously impressed.

Wow. These are really amazing. This is practically every figure I wished Hasbro would’ve had time to release during the 25th line and more. The Leatherneck repaint is fantastic. The Zandar and Zarana figures really need to be made, as does that retooled/repainted Serpentor.

Such amazing stuff. If only Hasbro would of had the faith in this line (and it’s new movie) to keep Classics going alongside the new RoC stuff. With huge gaps in my 25th collection where Hasbro failed to give me some of my all-time favorite figures (Airtight, Sci-Fi, Low-light, Lifeline & Iceberg) I wouldn’t even care what they charge for these figures.

    Incredible work, thanks for sharing
