More reviews added to the G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA Review Archive

Something glitched out today, and for whatever reason a scheduled post for review updates didn’t go through.  Yikes.  Anyway, I’ve added the following reviews to the review page today!

More coming!  Stay tuned.  Q & A’s should be flying up throughout the evening, too…  gotta feed the kid dinner first, though.  :shifty:

    that duke figure is awesome! i wanted to keep duke’s head and face clear since, well, hes duke! so i placed the helmet on dusty. looks great. makes dusty a bit more modern looking.

    also. make sure the goggles are fully up–they didnt look that great upon the first try, but when i added a bit of pressure, i found that they folded up higher.

    That Destro box really IS killer.
    I love how a lot of them have the same “near future science fiction” feel versus their era, like 20′s death ray satellite, 21′s orbital bombers, and 3′s Da Vincian steamtanks.

    And the figures themselves? Wow. Destro IX has just pops with that nice paint wash, and Destro XXIV is everything you could want in a figure of a guy in a suit.
    That the Q&As have confirmed that that mold has no plans for release at retail in ’09 disappoints me greatly. Not only would be good for Destro and the Crimson Twins… it’s an almost ideal ‘Bystander’ figure, too.

    GI Joe never has enough potential hostages in the line.

    Wait, so no release in 09? Well, at least 09 is almost over. I want that Destro, but I’m more excited for the suit fodder.

    i would also want to army build those desert dukes.

    that sdcc destro really looks cool..i do also hope that hasbro will release it in the future in retail..repaints for this figs will do.
