In your Tripwire review you hit the nail on the head as to why I want this figure. I’d love a 25th style Tripwire but I had no interest in yet another Cobra Commander figure. Alas, I’ll have to swallow more if I want to get my hands on the rest of the DVD packs and the Ultimate Battle Pack from Target but at least there’s one instance where I have a choice in the matter.

As for the Cobra Diver, I’ve always figured the Divers are regular troopers that were given a very basic course on dive training and underwater combat and then just handed a scuba tank and told “Jump in the water.” At the time of the MASS Device, Cobra probably didn’t have any dedicated amphibious unit so they had to take this course of action so poor Baroness wasn’t all by herself going to get the Heavy Water. It wouldn’t surprise me if a couple of the divers in her squad didn’t make it.
