This is going to sound stupid, but ever since I was young, the first thing I always said I'd do if I won the lottery was to hire out an animation studio to do a kick ass G.I. Joe cartoon. I even had a script in mind and specific scenes, etc... and it's like they pulled it right from my head. Slick animation, realistic, but somewhat futuristic tech. Great action and not afraid to push the envelope. It's exactly what I've wanted to see in a Joe cartoon. EXACTLY. I haven't looked forward to something this much in a long time. Darker.. more sophisticated character development... danger? Sold. When I found out Joaquim Dos Santos was involved I completely flipped out. He's one of the best action directors to come on to the American animation scene in a while. Sold again. Can't wait!
